The goddess Fortuna stands in a village street, either spinning or stopping the Wheel of Fortune while the three caste levels of society try to reconcile their place on it: the poor naked man is getting crushed and ground under the wheel, the middle man works to climb the wheel, while the wealthy nobleman attempts to keep his spot on the top using the man below him for support.
