17. Prudence

Carefully considering the circumstances. Avoiding an unnecessary or premature commitment. Developing a backup or contingency plan. Determining whether the solution is worse than the problem.

REVERSED:

Using caution as an excuse for inaction. Endlessly pondering the circumstances, without setting a criteria for decision. Ignoring the problems with the current circumstance and focusing on the inevitable challenges of any solution.
